Every traveller uses mobile data differently. Some people only need internet for maps, messages, emails and hotel details. Others use social networks, video calls, hotspot sharing, cloud services, online meetings, content uploads or travel planning tools throughout the day.

eSIM Plus offers Canada eSIM data options for different travel needs, from light daily use to larger data packages for longer stays, business travel, family holidays, study or more active internet use. Where available, your device can connect to fast 4G or 5G mobile data, depending on local network coverage and phone compatibility.

Important: To use an eSIM, your phone must meet two conditions:
- It must support eSIM.
- It must be unlocked and not restricted to a specific network.

How to check if a phone supports eSIM using *#06#

  1. Open the Phone / Dialer app.
  2. Type this code: *#06#
  3. Do not press call.
On most phones, the information screen opens automatically.
  4. Look for a number called:

EID

5. Check the result:

If you see EID, the phone usually supports eSIM.

If you see only IMEI or IMEI 1 / IMEI 2, but no EID, the phone probably does not support eSIM, or eSIM may be disabled by the manufacturer/carrier/region.

What EID looks like

EID is usually a long number, often around 32 digits.

Example:

EID: 89049032000000000000000000000000

Important note

Do not share your full IMEI or EID publicly. They are unique identifiers for your phone.
