Switzerland Unlimited Daily Data eSIM Plan

The Switzerland Unlimited Daily Data eSIM Plan is designed for travellers who want mobile data available every day during their trip. It is a flexible option for tourists, families, business travellers, ski travellers, hikers, remote workers and visitors who need internet access while travelling across Switzerland.

With a Switzerland eSIM, you can use mobile data for maps, hotel bookings, train routes, mountain transport, digital tickets, ski resort updates, restaurant searches, messaging, emails, social media, online calls, translation tools and travel updates. It is a practical digital alternative to buying a local Switzerland SIM card after arrival or depending only on hotel Wi-Fi, train station Wi-Fi or public Wi-Fi.

This unlimited daily data eSIM for Switzerland can be useful when visiting Zurich, Geneva, Lucerne, Interlaken, Bern, Basel, Lausanne, Zermatt, Grindelwald, St. Moritz, Davos, Lugano, Montreux, the Jungfrau Region, the Matterhorn area and the Swiss Alps. Whether you are checking a train from Geneva, finding your hotel in Zurich, planning a mountain route in Interlaken, skiing in St. Moritz or sharing your trip online, your travel eSIM helps keep mobile data ready when you need it.

How the Switzerland Unlimited Daily eSIM Works

A Switzerland Unlimited Daily Data eSIM Plan gives you a daily high-speed data allowance, depending on the package selected. For example, your plan may include 0.5GB, 1GB, 2GB, 3GB, 5GB or 10GB of high-speed data per day.

After the daily high-speed allowance is used, mobile data may continue at reduced speed until the next daily cycle begins, depending on the plan conditions and local network policy. This means you can still stay connected for basic use, while your high-speed data refreshes again on the next daily cycle.

Easy Switzerland eSIM Setup

After payment, your Switzerland eSIM activation details are delivered by email. You can install the eSIM on a compatible unlocked phone using a QR code, activation link or manual setup details. There is no physical SIM card to collect, and you can usually keep your regular SIM and phone number active while using the Switzerland travel eSIM for mobile data.

Once installed, select the eSIM for mobile data and follow the activation instructions for your plan. When instructed, enable data roaming for the eSIM profile so the mobile data connection can work correctly on supported networks in Switzerland.

Before choosing this plan, please make sure your phone supports eSIM technology and is unlocked from your mobile network. Coverage and speed can vary depending on location, local network availability and device compatibility, especially in remote mountain areas.

Important: To use an eSIM, your phone must meet two conditions:
- It must support eSIM.
- It must be unlocked and not restricted to a specific network.

How to check if a phone supports eSIM using *#06#

  1. Open the Phone / Dialer app.
  2. Type this code: *#06#
  3. Do not press call.
On most phones, the information screen opens automatically.
  4. Look for a number called: EID

5. Check the result:

If you see EID, the phone usually supports eSIM.

If you see only IMEI or IMEI 1 / IMEI 2, but no EID, the phone probably does not support eSIM, or eSIM may be disabled by the manufacturer/carrier/region.

What EID looks like

EID is usually a long number, often around 32 digits.

Example:

EID: 89049032000000000000000000000000

Important note

Do not share your full IMEI or EID publicly. They are unique identifiers for your phone.
